Bacopa caroliniana is a great choice for Avo as its slow growth rate makes it one of the few taller plants that need very little trimming. It’s best planted in small groups of three plants to a pot and positioned at the back of the tank. It can also be propagated by cutting side shoots and replanting in teh gravel. Due to it’s slow growth rate bacopa caroliniana removes less nitrates from the water so it’s best teamed with a faster “super plant” such as the Egeria Densa.
